My plan for tees is to let folks who can hang around after league tomorrow wander the course with me and we will look at some shots. Next week (the 7th) after league I'll do the same thing and we will actually mark the tees at that point so you have the rest of the week and Saturday to practice if you would like (just for you, Ish ). I won't put flags out until Sunday morning probably, so you might have to hunt to find them.

So anyway, if you have a shot you want us to throw or want to help me figure the set-up out, that is the plan. I basically have to come up with three shots per hole; the only standard tee I'm planning on using are the short tee on #1 & # 7. I could use a hand figuring it all out.

I hadn't read this prior to league so here are a couple of suggestions (for what they are worth):
On #5 you could look at Todd's idea of throwing from the berm, over the little valley to the basket.
#8 might be interesting to throw straight along the top of the dam- the wind can be tricky.
#9 definitely needs a pine tree to be thrown around- or maybe from the back side where the brush is.
Just thoughts; I am assuming you are looking for ideas that are not just 100-150 ft. straight shots at the chains.

On # 1 I've been looking at throwing from the pool fence down the hill for a shot, that would be fun. We are going to throw a shot that is basically # 7's long tee to # 6's basket. Throwing off an elevated tee like that is always fun. You can get a downhill run at # 2 and # 3 as well. I'm going to try to get as many of those types of shots as I can, shots were you can let it fly on by and hopefully it goes in. I was looking around for something goofy to throw off of at #4 (like throw off the caterpillar) but I can't really find anything with decent footing and I don't want people to get hurt. The berm on # 5 is pretty far back there, it's way out of my range from back there. I'll look at it again, though.

Discraft sent me an email that stuff shipped today, so we might have stuff by Tuesday. I'll talk to Kristy about whether she thinks we should hand out packages early or no. I'm leaning toward no, but I'll see what she thinks.

OK, I'm sure all my marks are washed away by now. Tomorrow doesn't look good either. Right now my plan is to hit the areas with paint Saturday AM and flags Sunday AM, so if you want to practice you should be able to on Saturday and Sunday morning. Really all you need to do to be practicing is get used to being 100'-150' out and throwing pin high. You have to readjust from the golf mentality of an upshot at those distances and fire at the pin. If you can do that, the shots are not going to be technical enough to trip you up. I made sure I could get there with a Roc from all the tees, and I'm a weenie arm so everybody should be able to reach the pin from most of the tees. There are a couple glorified putts mixed in there as well.

Sunday weather looks good. It should be fun. Setting up the course was really fun becasue I got to walk around to places I would never end up while playing and try some fun shots. It was a good time just doing that, so the event should be fun. BTW, my ace count from the last practice run was three.

Gotta bump this one back up. We are at 28 pre-registered, so we only have 7 packages left. It would be cool to top 30 for this event.

I might punt the tees on # 8. I wasn't very happy with them today, it seemed like I needed to do something else there. # 8 bothered me because there was basically one shot there. I had the same problem on # 5; basically the same shot over and over from different spots. The rest of the holes had more fun shots than I needed, but those two I wasn't very happy with.

I was totally shut out today. No ace, no chains, no metal.

Does the Proto disc have a name? Have you thrown it? Is it pretty similar to a wasp?
