We will split after week four using top three scores. We will also be changing the Cali rule to one Cali throw per hole; the current rule is too easy to take advantage of.

How is the Ber Juan league running....team of 2, take the best score of the two players playing out each hole OR both take the 2nd shot from best 1st shot location, etc?

Is anyone aware of the current course record (two laps 18 holes) from the ez tees at Ber Juan?

For estimating PDGA player rating, would you use 6 points per shot or 10 points per shot over or under par to add or subtract from 1000? I assume since its an easy course that 6 points should be used as an estimate but i'm not really sure.

Think i was +40 (at least) for 36 holes at Ozark and Akita this weekend
Did manage 2 birdies and 3 pars which was nice. Played with one disc, the mid-range gateway element, happy not to lose it there. Very difficult yet enjoyable courses; not used to throwing with so much elevation change. Love the baskets compared to Ber Juan, hope Lions Club goes with a premium basket...makes a big difference.

Ber Juan is best disc. You both throw, pick the best lie and shoot again from there.

The best round of 9 I have heard of at Ber Juan is still the 22 Tom Murdick shot the first weekend the course was in. I didn't hang around to hear what he shot his next time around (and it was dark anyway) so I don't know what he shot for 18.

This spring a guy told me he had shot a -12 for 18, but he was using the par 31 math and had only shot a 50. I'm pretty sure somebody will get a round in the mid 40's at an event this summer.

Generally the course record is from an official round, and the only singles event we have had there was in a bunch of snow and we used the long tees for a round, so the scores were not stellar. I think 59 or something like that won.

As for a rating...no clue, couldn't help ya.

I'm pretty sure Lions Club is installing Titans. I'm just guessing that, but nothing else really makes sense.

Yeah...Lion's Club already has the Titans sitting in the club out there ready to be installed. Hopefully soon. Those titans are great...and yeah Ozark and Akitas are quite a workout...but man some of those holes are so great.
