Here’s a primmer for those unaware of the symbolism behind the bruiser artwork.
Base photo of "the" tree was was taken just after the grass had sprouted on the mound. Photo-shopped it to make the grass look more even and did some serious cut/paste & contrast enhancement to make the basket more visible.
Squirrel tail and thumber disc are taken from a “peach” roc Spencer Thurman did in the late 80’s. Artwork was hand drawn by Randy Lahm’s father. It wouldn’t work on the discs but at least it made it on the shirt.
Pretty sure she won the fight! Best quirky bruise symbolism I could come up with. Considered asking Mike Trapasso to "drag up" for the pic but never got around to it.
Da’dog is Super Pretzel (Logic) belonging to former DGCNV club president Andrew Rivers. Pretzel is DGCR member #15608 (209 courses played) and I just set him a friend request.
The Hawk represents the resident hawk(s) living at Bluemont.(Within the DC Capital beltway) The image was copied from somewhere since the photo I took did not have high enough resolution for the stamp.
