I have some discs that have been used a lot over the last year; they have hit a lot of trees and stuff while learning the game, but for a while I used to throw them really well (for me anyway.)
Now I can't seem to throw them for anything; they break REALLY hard right (right hand back hand throw) or actually turn over. Even if I try to start them really hyzer it does not seem to matter, they end up breaking hard right or end up on the ground to the right. There are two discs in particular (dont recall the names, one is a gateway driver maybe a sabre, the other is an innova driver.)
Is there a natural life cycle to a disc?
Is this typical?
Do you demote such discs to becoming a roller or do you remove them from your bag entirely?
Do you periodically have to rotate new discs into your stack because of this effect?
They don't seem warped so I assume its all the scratches and dings along the rim causing this. If it is, can this by mitigated by sanding it smooth or doing some light heat treatment/melting?
Just looking for some advice from more veteran players, thanks.
