The Laker League is going to be out at Ozark Mountain on 5/7 according to a post on the St. Louis site. I'm assuming that if something is going on out there, the Aces would want to make an appearance. I'm still knee deep in kids soccer then, but we might want to CNX the Lion's Club league that day and hit Ozark instead.

Is this still going on?

I know a guy who lives in Wisconsin who was supposedly coming down for this, but Bruce never responded to the email I sent. So, who knows? I'll ask Paul what he knows.

OK, so these guys are for sure going to be out there. They are saying shoot for 9:00am, so I think a "ballpark" start time is as good as you are going to get. No money to play, but they run a lot of side bets.

It's hard to know what to do. On the one hand I think most guys will want to play at Ozark, but you might get out there at 9 and stand around for an hour and 1/2 with your thumb up your ass waiting for people to get there with no idea who to call to find out WTF is going on. I have to run soccer and can't play either way, so whatever you guys want to do.

I talked to Noah. Noah ran into Nikko who played out there earlier in the week, and he said it was rough. Given the rain we have had in the 6 weeks since the course was mowed, that's probably not a surprise. Anyway, Noah decided that between the uncertain arrival time and the course conditions that most people won't go out there. He's probably right. Noah is going to run league at LC as usual.
