You guys have all probably been playing for a while and you've probably played a lot more courses than I have (9). What courses in the area do you think are the best and why?

Idlewild. It is a pro caliber course and #2 on disc golf course review top 10 list (should be #1). Check the reviews on it. Also in Ohio there is Mt. Airy forest, it is very challengeing and provides a disc golf shop. Mason Sports Park DGC is probably the most challengeing 9 hole course. I love that course and it is my home course.

Cool. I'll have to add Mason Sports Park to my wish list. I do want to hit Mt. Airy as I've heard lots of good things about it. What do you think of Lincoln Ridge? I've only been playing a couple months, but have been living a mile from Lincoln for 7+ years. I play it often and it seems challenging (although all courses are challenging for me). I did play Idlewild once and it proved to be difficult. I'd like to play it now that I have more experience under my belt and now that I'm throwing something that you can even call a driver (Sidewinder and Valkyrie). Before I was throwing a Buzzz and Cheetah off the tees.

I like Lincoln Ridge. I actually just played it and I like it but a long walk. My friend has gotten an ace on hole 9. I usually use my leopard off the tee.

I have a star leopard that I love. At Lincoln Ridge I'll use it on no.4 sometimes off the tee. I don't find a lot of holes there anymore that I'll use it off the tee, but I love that disc...star plastic and a bit heavy, 172. Any hole to ace is sweet, but I'd love to ace no. 9. Have to hyze it and put enough air under it to get it to sit down (and avoid the forest). I've only driven no. 9 a couple times and both lately since I've been throwing a Valk and a Sidewinder. Can't wait for Wednesday...gonna get out of work a few minutes early and get at least 11 holes in at Lincoln.
