See that you run a private dg course? Im in North Augusta and do a bit of traveling to play. Will i need to make tee time a good bit ahead of time to play?

I will beat Stoney Hill this time.

Will you be there on the 17th to join our merry band of freaks ?

David, Would you mind writing a review of The Ft. Inn course since you played it? I know it is no where near Stoney Hill caliber but a course designer like you would always give a quality honest review.

Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, a couple of tees are due to be replaced. Winter's tough because the rain never quite dries out.

Stoney Hill is incredible. Once you guys replace some of those tee's out there ( I loved the carpet, just a couple seemed to really absorb the water with an almost moldy layer on top and make it incredibly slick) let me know, I want to come back without the wet & 30-40 mph gusts. I gave it a 4 1/2 but wanted to give it a 5. Some of the best green's I could possibly imagine in disc golf.

Hola SC brother! I invited you to the NC Meet up group. I'd like to invite more SC guys but I can't remember any besides you and Keltik.

Anywho, pkbeast came up with the idea of a NC vs SC thing (again) in the group and it would be pretty worthless if SC guys weren't there to speak on it. Cheers.

That thumbers thread is one of the best I've seen on here in a while lol

We have a course here in the Ottawa region which has a hole 300 feet long with a high screen of trees in the middle and a 30 foot hole through them. I get such joy launching a bomb thumber over the top. There are only 2, maybe 3 guys in the region that can get the height and distance necessary to pull it off. Very big risk / reward shot. That is the place for thumbers in DG course design. Make it so you can go for the thumber bomb, but if you mess up its gonna be one to two strokes of extra pain

I appreciate you recent review of the course at the Laurens County Park. We are open to suggestions on how we might improve the course. Evrything is movable including the undersized tee boxes. We are also looking for input from regular disc golfers who might like to add input for the back 9.

    Thanks

I'm in Cola for the next 3 weeks selling Christmas trees.
Unfortunately weekday mornings are my only window to get in a round until the 15th, then things slack up some. LMK if you are up for an AM round at Earlewood or Crooked Creek. Would also like to play Stoney Hill when my boys finish their semester (after the 17th).

    Thanks, Rich
