I've been working six and seven day weeks; mostly 13 hour days. So, yeah, a disc trip was pretty far from my mind...then, all the sudden, today, Osseo appeared; sounded great; and four of us are in. FVRA, Inc. doing well; just a lot of stuff to take care of, for first big program. I have @50 employees. Tourneys two weekends in a row too. Quickbooks still one of my tough areas; but, I enter a lot of data there now. Still learning to do though.

How come I was not invited to this extravaganza? Alan! Damn him! Looks like I'm headed over to the course in Osseo, for an annual "May Party"; at Wildapple. Tic has 18 Mach Vs now and it will be the first time in quite some years that I haven't played it during deep snow, winter time. Quality, largely private course we're camping at. Steve going.

Yeah, it's over by Ann Arbor. It's quite high on my list of courses; though primarily like ski hill courses in general; in that, you do a lot of up and downhill big walks. But, probably my very favorite of that type. Does sound like it may be under water at the moment. Monster is on par with the Beast; though flatter. Cass Benton was my fav of the whole group; but, sounds as though it's been played fast and hard.. Was brand new when I was there. In other words, the Ann Arbor trip is nearly as strong as the Flip/Ludington trip and Toboggan is only in the ground for brief periods. Probably quite a bit further drive though; huh?

I was going to let you decide the course since you know the area. What's your fave? I can work around your schedule a little if need be. That is why I put the word out early. I was planning on coming up your way at the beginning of my trip, but that can change if it needs to. I was going to try to hit Highbridge if I can. If not maybe Flip City instead. I sent word to Paul I was coming up that way. I saw Eric this past weekend at a tourney and told him as well.

What happened to my last message? I swear I sent it...

Battles is pretty out there for me, that's a 1 or 2 listen per year. Cephalic Carnage, I haven't really listened to; it has not made the journey to my work computer yet. (Outside of work, I don't listen to much music. Late 90's techno in the car mostly, heh heh).

Tim Buckley; those first two albums were putting me to sleep, but I liked the Starsailor album. That Song to the Siren is a classic, I've heard that a million times on some trance CD's. Good stuff!

Same with the MM&W, it is a lot more structured than I originally thought. I definitely dig it.

Planning a trip up north the last week in July. Should be in your area on Monday the 25th.

No need to be embarrassed about legos. Ever. What percentage of Technics make up your inventions? Mine were very, very heavy with the movable parts.

Oh boy. I hope I can handle it... I will listen to that MM&W tomorrow, and Tim Buckley, and let you know. I only gave those a college try earlier.

As far as the Captain Beefheart, I think it's just the dude's voice that bugs me on some songs. Both the enunciated recitations, and the low forceful stories. I don't know why, but vocals can really irritate me for no discernable reason, like that Yeasayer, or LCD Soundsystem, or Van Morrison .
