I should bring up rendering next time I'm at a dinner party.

    *someone asks for the gravy*

Juke: Hey, did you guys know that rendering is the oldest form of recycling???

Cool. Glad you enjoyed it. My favorite parts are all the things the rendering plant guy says.

Hmm, interesting title...keep reminding me to check it out. Considering I watch (literally) about 1 movie every two years, it might take me a while to get around to it.

One other crazy-ass movie you might be interested in is Pootie Tang.

The first five minutes or so are among the best cinema I've ever seen....the rest of the movie?

How exactly does one watch a movie and play video games at the same time...from an attention standpoint?

lulz, yeah, the pacing is a bit on the slow side of things.

    Ah...I don't think I've ever had it.

Seems like it should be fairly widely available. Kinda considered a bit of a classic, I think.

I don't really know how you kids get your movies nowadays. :grouchyoldmansmiley:

I am familiar with Pussy Riot...they're the Russian punk band that got jailed for performing in a church mebbe a year or so ago.

I cannot recommend Gates of Heaven any more highly. It was one of the very first indie movies I ever saw on IFC waay back in like '97. Changed my view of movies completely.

Errol Morris is a genius at getting people to ramble on with minimal prodding and/or questioning.
