Yeah, my alarm never went off this morning, so I'm getting ready now. I'll probably leave shortly, but I don't think that gives me enough time to play somewhere else before the tournament. We might try to squeeze Dretzka in after the tourney if there's enough light left.

Well Sunday I could definitely meet up for a round or two. Not sure I want to do the ace race, but I would gladly meet up with you beforehand. What time does the ace race start? Ahh Homestead another course off the list I see, it is so not fun, but I played it to just to say I played it!

Yeah, we're just going to make it a day trip. Probably play Dretzka's winter layout in the morning, play the ace race (apparently it's only supposed to be 2 rounds of 10 holes so it should go pretty quick), then maybe hit Homestead on the way down.

Hey, are you going to be around next weekend? I'm going to be up at Tendick for the ace race next Sunday, and jhgonzo thinks he is coming down for it. It would be cool to play a round with you, and all three of us have travel tags.

No, I just joined, in fact just started playing in late summer, but am (obviously) hooked.

I work for the C.D.F.A. as a Plant Quarantine Supervisor at the Truckee Border Protection Station. Been doing it since 1993. Since you are in plant/landscaping, you are probably informed about invasive species. At the border, that's what we look for. Trying to keep them out of California. There's really no way for most species to enter, except for vehicles, what with the mountains, desert and ocean.

Thanks for the "hello". Everyone on the site has been pretty cool, and I've found a lot of helpful information just reading different forum posts. I'm excited about learning a new sport.

Permanent pads are in as are all the pins and it'll be in all winter, except for a couple holes which may interfere w/ the sledding hill. Just added the course info.

re zobel: I got all the pins & pads GPSd on tuesday, so I've got all the distances & they'll be up later today along w/ the rest of the course info. As for a map, I'm working on that during my free time at work, so it's going to be a bit until I get that finished.
