I saw that. Pretty funny. Cro isn't my workhorse, but it is super reliable on approaches. But I have been working my Wizard game, and have been nailing about 1 or 2, 70-100' approach a game with it.

The 4th-6th is Labor Day weekend -- Ron is setting up the Jordan Lake thing for the 5th (raindate the 6th) -- I'll have to play it by ear as to disc golf times. I just checked out the Hickory tournament -- forget that, $50 bucks for me since I'm not a pdga member + another $5 if you want in on the ace pool.

Hope you can make it. It looks like the 36 spots are already filled... with good folks no less. I don't particularly like tournaments, but this is alll about having fun in a semi-competitive atmosphere.
Can't wait for you to see the new gold supercourse. Finished cutting it out today. It's basically teeing off from one hole and playing through to the next hole's basket.

I'm holding two spots and bunk space, for you and Royal until I hear otherwise.

If I was preparing for a century the following week, IMO there's no better training regimen than 30-40 miles of mountain cycling followed by disc golf and copious amounts of cold beer.

Wanted to invite you and Royal up to Sugaree on August 15.
It will be our second year anniversary as well as opening for new gold course...Sugaree on steroids.
Will have a small low-key tourny starting on the odd holes to quicken the pace, folloed by doubles on the 9 hole gold version.
    Hope you can make it.
