It's funny how few of those things would influence my review... that's awesome. The actual holes themselves look pretty interesting; some uphill tunnels, tricky tee shots, trees to get around.

I just saw the rating, but then the picture looked pretty cool (I usually check to see where the course is located). I'll take your word for it over some fuzzy photos!

That LeRoy course looks pretty crazy! It must have been in terrible shape to get a .5 rating, eh? The pictures make think of a 2-2.5, easy.

Was great meeting you at Highland, and sort of playing dubs with you at Trinity Links. Been meaning to review the courses I played on that trip, but I've been pretty busy the last couple of weeks-haven't been on DGCR much. Highland is a neat course and I really enjoyed a full day at Lemon Lake. If you have any plans to play in southern MI, let me know!
