Yeah, it's quite a bit more comprehensive now. Before, it just stated "lots of possibilities for alternate routes". He posted a youtube of himself playing the alternate routes, and it looks pretty good.

Sorry for the delay! I'm not sure what brand of baskets...looks like a DISCatcher on their tiny brochure, but it might just be a stock photo they took from the internet. Who knows? Anyway, probably headed back to Schönwald this weekend with some buddies. I've been talking to Luma from the forums on FB lately...he saw that I reviewed his home course. We're probably meeting up this coming weekend to bang some chains.

I'm not sure of the guy's name, but my best German friend Bastian spoke to him about the financial and logistic necessities behind creation of a disc golf course. He also told Bastian about several places he was considering as locations. It appears he found a good one! As for Grafenwöhr, they have a new "outdoor rec" place there, complete with rock climbing walls, a playground, a massive field, a pond for swimming, a zipline course, and a rope course. I spoke to the manager there about putting in a disc golf course. He said that they were already considering it and that they have to see how it fits into their budget, but that they were happy to hear that there's some interest in it. Believe me, I went in depth about how they could make money with it by selling discs and gear. It's still a good possibility!

That's awesome. I really wish we had more courses here in Northern Bavaria. It's basically a perfect area for disc golf....fields of green everywhere, plenty of trees, lots of hills. It's pretty sad that Schönfeld is the closest course to us right now. Be prepared, however, for my addition and review of the newest course in the area. A new course is opening in the Frankische Schwieße in April. It'll be a pay course, 5 euro per round, but it's going to be worth it. Totally stoked.
