Yeah, I am a little afraid of that. Atleast I have played outside the NW in some prime locations and I don't have many friends...so I got that going for me. I hope to be the 5th diamond level reviewer. I know I will make top 10 easy, most likely by that point you will too. See you manana mi amigo!

Let me talk with my better half, look at the weather report, and will plan on meeting up with you on sat or sun. Is there one day that is better then the other? I still owe you a round and have been working with my KC Pro Tbirds in the 150 class. Can't wait to tear it up with them on the tac. My favorite disc there! Ask Silly how I did with that thing at shelton. Almost eagled the hardest par 5.

Yeah you suckers...I would have loved to have gone with you...(cough)

Glad you found it though as it is a lot of fun. Thanks for taking pics too. I think I played it closer to 2005 0r 2006 but figured after talking with my friends who have played it over the years that not much has changed. That is why I put up my review. Might have fudged the date though so I don't have to get sh%$ for it like you have recently.

Want to play SeaTac soon? I am dying to get down there. You working every day next week? Weekend?

Btw, loved your review of Ryan Ranch. I already told Crystal that I want to play it next time I go back.

Karen plays infrequently, but I'd like to get her more involved in the game -- she enjoys it, but has no distance on her throws. Good short accuracy and good flicks and flick-annies from years of playing ultimate, but just hasn't made the transition to disc golf very quickly, and would love to join you and Sheila for a few rounds, because I think it would inspire and help her game.

Anyway, I'm rambling -- but I hope things are well for you both. Kick an update when you can. I don't check this that often, but you can reach me here, or can always reach me on my e-mail, tim@tiltedhalos.com

    Blessings my friend,
    Tim

It looks more open than it plays because there are a lot of holes that finish hard into the woods and you need to plan your approach carefully. So you have lots of air to play with, but small areas you have to land in. Which makes it play like a golf course should -- every shot -- no matter how open -- has to be planned and aimed with heavy risk reward, and you have to know when to throw short because you want to hold onto angle or elevation for your approach shots.
Basically, Iron Hill / Carousel is a two day event that is mentally exhausting in the best possible way because you have to think about every one of the almost 300 shots you will play during the two day tourney. Totally amazing. If you think you can make it, come early and I'll take time off to go out and play the courses with you.
