Check out "Monarch" discussion. The question is "Do you like the Monarch?" Here are some of the funny remarks that are made:
Pretty awful disc in most situations. If you can't get it up to speed, it's just another meathook - if you can get it up to speed, it's got a massive turn to it. It can't handle any headwind, and doesn't even roll well. No thanks
I tend to only really use this disc when I travel so that if I lost it I was not heart broken.
First disc that I've ever seen given away at the course. Sitting at 2nd hole teebox sharpied "FREE" across the disc.
A while back, a buddy gave me a monarch, I threw it a few times, lost it, got a call from a guy that found it, told him to keep it.
The only person I know that constantly throws a Monarch is a Senior Grandmaster who roller flicks everything...
I bought one and almost immediately regretted it.
I've so very rarely seen this disc fly well....from anyone.

Here's something I found today that your Dad needs to read:
Help needed in putting together a bag
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Im a RHBH that doesn't want to carry around 20 different molds. I can throw around 350 or so. Here's what I was thinking
2 firebirds
2 monarchs
2 Valkyries
1 tee bird
2 rocs Sm edition
2 soft ion putters
Suggests please. What do I need to keep cut and why?

And also, get rid of the light neon blue on the light neon green background. Next to impossible to read!

10/4 Check out the post called "I've jumped on the Bandwagon" Lots of putter talk. Is your new putter the Ion? There's lots about it on that post.

Waiting for a baby, I should just go play disc golf until the baby comes. That's how it works right?
