Thanks for the kind words. I've always wanted to try the fishing lure dye, but I've found that I can get pretty good colors by painting RIT or Idye mixed with acetone. The colors take almost instantly so you always have to need a handy supply of clean acetone to clean up mistakes with. I think we need an odorless acetone =)

The frog dye is on Star plastic.
It was done with acetone based fishing lure dye.
I think I only used 3 colors, but was able to blend the blue and chartreuse to make that green.
I had green, but it didn't take very well.
I dip the black in Rit, then apply the acetone stuff with a q-tip and just paint it on.
As you can imagine, the acetone dye takes immediately and really burns into the plastic.
The ace-based dye had some interesting effects on Champ plastic, but didn't work as well as it did on the Star.
