Just finished a 2000 mile road trip, played 14 course total, 8 new courses. Peregrine Point, Milo McIver, Condon to name a few

I am trying a new point system. that will hopefully streamline my review process. First I felt that there were 5 categories that made courses playable. And assigned point values to each.Lay-out; 1.5 pts, Terrain; 1 pts, Difficulty; 1 pt, Fun Factor; 1 pt, and Maintenance; 0.5 pts. Addin up to 5. then i will round to the nearest .0 or .5. Reviews are from an amateur, semi-serious perspective. I am also trying to relate to the majority of players.

Lay-Out- Encompasses much of course, left and right, use of natural and man-made objects throughout. I feel that the lay-out and design of the course are the most important elements, thus the 1.5 points.
Terrain- Use of elevation changes and undulations. Ease of travel.
Difficulty- This can be debatable, as easy as some places can be, I believe there is such thing as unneccesarily difficult
Fun Factor The intangible quality that makes a course worth playing. Can be different for many, so I try to generalize in reviews.
MaintenanceTrail, fairway, basket, and teepad upkeep. As well as condition of course overall.
