Hmmmm..... Maybe I should avoid you going forward then; so I'll always be the ACE MAN!

I probably won't be headed down until sometime Friday; but should be heading straight to Foundation without any other stops. I'll see ya down there!!! Alan - 217.480.1200

BTW, I've hit Centralia last year on the way to the St. Louie 'law, so I feel less of a need to scout. But I'll hit you up for sure asap once in the area.

I'm up for the Ridge tomorrow. Gotta go to second job now; leave me a message. I assume we're trying to make league play?

Sioux has two courses now; the Briscoe Woods one is a navigation nightmare so take a map. Rock Springs in Alton is very close to there; it's a good design but it may be missing a basket. There is another new 18 hole near there called Kutter Park but I've got no info on it other than it is there. If you stay in St. Louis Carrollton Park is good. Fort Zumwalt is just over the river in St. Charles but it uses tall grass in places. I'm not a big fan of it. Willmore ties in well with JB and is a good course. A lot of the shots at Logan University are good, but it's a navigation nightmare and school is back in session so I'd skip it. Woodland Park is in Illinois; it's easy to get to and it does a really good job of mixing it up tee to tee. It's a good course if you are going to play one multiple times but you don't get a great feel for the variety if you pick one tee and play it once. Classes start on Monday; today and tomorrow are my last days off for quite a while sadly.

I did not realize until Monday, but I had already played both the Escanaba courses! You want enough tunes to keep you busy for next two years? http://tela.sugarmegs.org/alpha/j.html Check out some Art Ensemble of Chicago if you want a taste of the Roscoe Mitchell show. There is actually one Roscoe show in there...

I don't have any inside scoop, but it looks like the idea was for 25-27 to play to the river island and back. There was a basket installed in pin position 25, but the river island was way overgrown and looked like it'd be nearly impossible to access from the rest of the course.
