What about hair dye.
I personally haven't tried this yet, but has anybody tried using hair dye to dye there discs. Can be had in many colors and can be painted on. If someone has tried this post their results.

Very interesting...
|
it cost a lot for hair dye i think.....
|
and stinks terribly
|
So the disc would smell like my grandmother's house after a "perm" party?
:gross: |
Hair dye is more costly, the colors are more nature like, so the discs would be harder to find. It smells horrible, and it is designed to absorb into hair and it fades.
Not sure there is much incentive to even give it a try. |
Dollar store hair dye is cheap this is an interesting idea
|
this seems unlikely to succeed
since discs are typically a polycarbonate mixture and reject dyes that work on natural fibers. I would wager that since your hair would be a natural/organic material that this wont work. hair dye would likely be similar to regular idye or tulip or any of the dyes that dont work on polycarbonates. |
