Tulsa
Okay, so let's say you're driving through the Tulsa area and have time for 2 rounds. Do you play the 2 courses at The Lodge? Or the 2 at Mohawk Park?
Player level is 930-980. Priorities are drinking a few Shiners, playing some golf. Don't want to risk poor grooming so a bunch of time is spent looking for discs or tromping through long grass. Crowds are a minus. Timeframe is March, if that impacts vegetation, maintenance, and crowds. Let's assume the route is 75, so The Lodge appears to be a sidetrack, for however that weighs in. |
I definitely go to the Lodge. /thread

I'm flying into Tulsa in 3 weeks and planning on the The Lodge already, if I have extra time which Tulsa course is the best? Btw, I dislike heavily wooded tight courses.

If you can afford the side trip, definitely head to Pawhuska.

The Lodge is definitely worth a drive, and in March I can't imagine things being all that rough. There are some areas that looked like the grass could get long but it wasn't bad when I was there.

I am heading to Tulsa next week with some friends for our annual disc golf road trip. We are staying at the lodge over night one of those nights and Tulsa the other. We are looking for the best local joints to hit up for food....both in Pawhuska (if there is anything) and in Tulsa. Can you guys make some suggestions?

Get me orcs! I know someone has some burried there.

Any thoughts on the food question?
