Need Help
Our club is having a contest for a New Logo Design.
My problem is I have as much artistic ability as a gnat's fart has a chance at knocking a tree over. I have an idea of what I want, just no way to get it on paper. Any artistic people out there that can help? My idea is to take the signature holes from 4 of our courses (maintained by the club). Basically take a circle and put an X (or cross...you get the idea) and have one hole in each area. Is this possible? |
You've obviously never smelled my farts. 😷

Nobody???

I got you Shroom, what would you like?
Send me the pics. Also send me you local club name |
I'm having a hard time thinking about the circle and cross.
|
I think I get it, but I do not think it will be as cool as you want.

Here is a very rough draft just to check your concept.

Yeah rube you are on the right track.
Maybe a cross (thin border line) in lieu of the X these are the holes http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course...276cb83f_m.jpg http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course...dd677d5a_m.jpg http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course...93e45ae4_m.jpg No pic for the fourth On hand drawn fourth (Buddy Butts) the whole left side is OB small shrubs and trees. I can do a better sketch with boundries if needed. Basically just thinking of maybe black and white, or even hand sketch of the holes (the whole picture is too much) because it will end up on the shirts and possibly discs. I have a rough hand drawn picture http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...C3FF66D9CF.jpg Does this makes sense? If you don't think it will look good I can abandoned the idea, it was just a thought. Oh Yeah Club Name is J.U.D.G.E.S. Jackson Union of Disc Golf Enthusiasts |
Next I'd try converting the pics to black and white or grey scale and see if the images still "pop" or look representitive of the original holes. Maybe have someone do a little photoshop work and try for a more styleized or clip art type images. Much easier to dye.
