Putter Much Lighter Than Ordered
I received a Vibram Summit that I ordered as 170g. In another thread I whined about it feeling like a coffee can lid. Today I received a scale and the Summit weighs in at a scant 163.7g. I don't have much use for it as a putter at that weight, it floats around like that feather on Forrest Gump. With shipping it was $18.44.
If the right thing to do is suck it up that's fine, but what, if anything is reasonable to request from the vendor? |
an exchange comes to mind
|
yes, you should be able to exchange. We'd you buy it?
|
Most people who run businesses tend to be reasonable. If you are, as well, it should be fine to exchange.

This is why I deal with Justin at communitydiscs.com. Any discs that he is unsure of the weight, he personally scale weighs and puts a sticker on the bottom with the scale weight. I have had this issue with various other stores, but never from Justin.

I recommend contacting the vendor before starting a thread about it.
But hey, that's just me. |
Shopping at stores that weigh their own discs eliminates this problem. I'd try to exchange it for sure.
