New DG Posts

There is a new menu option in the forum menu bar titled "New DG Posts". This is similar to the regular "New Posts" link except it will exclude all threads from the water cooler. That way if you're not interested in the non DG side of things, you won't have to weed through the thread titles.

I considered making the New Posts thing a drop-down but then we'd be talking two clicks to get to the list.. I don't want your fingers to get tired :) I removed the old FAQ menu item from the forum menu. A link to that FAQ can be found in the new site FAQ system in the main menu.

Tim just curious is there a way to select individually what forums we want to see......I'm not personally interested in disc dying, water cooler, trades, and I realize many are. I just wondered if it was possible to tailor make your new forum topics to exclude whatever each member is most keen on. If not it's no biggie...I'm just lazy!

You can do that by just going to the forums you're interested in, and the newest posts will be at the top anyway, though I guess that means you'd have to click through multiple forums if there was more than one you were interested in. Either way, thanks for the new feature Tim!

You can create your own link but I can't really add it on the forum due to lack of space. The format is:

Just include the forum id's you want to exclude separated by a "," and it'll skip over those posts. You could make a custom bookmark for it in your browser and just click that to see new posts in the forums you're interested in.
