To attach the anchor magnet to the body, maybe take a spare piece of fabric as a patch, and just use that to make the "pocket/cover" for the anchor. I don't know where exactly would be the best spot.

This is a great idea, pretty easy to sew too. Just get a pair of hematite stones from the local hippy store and sew them on in! Super strong natural magnets.
