For me the core has more glide than the claymore, which can be helpful, but I found I was lacking the control the Claymore gives. I would think of the Core more like a Mako, and the Claymore more...

Escape is proabably the best all around driver of the trilogy stuff, I've thrown.

All others are more or less copies of something else.
