Yea actually when I look at my grip the disc is more in the crook of my hand instead of teetering on my fingers. The basic idea is the same, it looks like you might need to tweak your grip a bit....

I say don't worry too much about huge distance after just a couple years. Most people don't throw as far as they say anyway (sorry, DGCR, but video or it didn't happen!) so pay no mind to internet...

Hmmm interesting... The only real use I found for that stupidly OS Firebird was overhand shots, which I rarely ever throw. Other than that, the FB didn't go any further than my Drone and didn't fly...
