The glide/turn/fade ratings are indicators of how a disc will fly if thrown at the given speed (which is calculated by rim width).

So a KC Aviar is 2/3/0/2 but it obviously won't fly like that...

I can remember buying a 10/10 a couple years ago from LSDiscs for like $40. Maybe the prices have gone up since then, but I can't imagine a 10/10...

Why not just make the tournaments free to play in? And give everyone a tiny trophy for their efforts?

If someone doesn't want to 'donate' money to the pros, then they don't have to play.
