I recently got a one on one lesson from Will and he's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. At the end of the lesson I asked him to sign a disc. I didn't have a Prodigy disc so I asked if he would...

Please explain. I understand that technique is more important than physical strength in getting a disc to behave as expected (getting a disc up to speed to behave as intended). Is that what you're...

The notion that smaller arms can't throw speed 14 discs is complete BS. True, there's a ton of high speed drivers I have no business throwing such as Destroyer, Boss, World, Etc. On the other hand I...

Ha! I have a buddy who call my Wild Turkey and diet coke "straightening fluid" and it's so true. I play my best golf in that 4-6 beverage sweet spot.

Destiny is a slightly more stable King. Lot's of speed and glide. It turns but not quite as much as a King. Always comes back at the end.

Thanks Guys! As with most DGCR discussions we don't have definitive consensus but that's what I expected. Either shot works - all good. Gonna check out and have a bourbon now. Thanks again.

Proxy Versus Envy for open upshot

So I'm loving the Proxy/Envy combo for upshots (and shorter drives). I love having 2 discs that have the same speed and same hand feel but one gives a bit of fade one doesn't. In many cases the...

I have a yellow 5X that is firm, slightly concave, and grippy. I'd be happy to sell or trade. PM me if interested.

My Destiny is considerably more stable than my Kings. There's enough difference for me to bag bag both. The Destiny starts it's fade earlier in the flight for sure.

Shoe Goo versus Tuff Toe versus Plasti Dip

I confess; I'm a toe dragger. I keep wearing out the instep/toe of my left shoe. I've been using Shoe Goo for a few year and it works fairly well. I build up the area where the shoe drags and wears...

I've thrown both and get similar distance out of both - a little more from the Hatchet but it's close. The Hatchet has a touch more speed and the Maul has a bit more glide but again close on both....

I've been wearing Merrell shoes with Vibram soles for quite a while and love the feel and traction. The problem is that I always wear down the soles before I wear out the rest of the shoe. My...
