No it doesn't. The disc still glows from center to rim. Even with a Proton MVP disc (black outer rim) you should be able to see it perfectly fine up close as well as at a distance.

I hate glide in an overstable mold so I'm biased against it. Someone brought that up in the BOS thread - I just can't comprehend glide+overstability.

Yup. Drone lover here:) I prefer the 08' Worlds FLX ones over any other Drone. They're most ESP than traditional FLX (stiffer) while retaining great grip and a flat top.
