This may sound kinda ridiculous, but I've thought for a while that using a .5 par system would be really helpful. All holes would be given a par of 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, etc. You would still keep score...

I like flex shots for shorter throws, but not so much for distance. Although, I don't use hyzerflips that much either for distance. Normally I just go with dead straight drives.

The Zone is a bit shorter, but my favorite forehand disc period. Possibly my favorite disc overall. Also, if the Drone seems like a bit too much of a meathook, try a Wasp.

Why not just throw the disc as hard as you can straight down? I think you'd have to put spin on it to get the speed. Like off a bridge. And that makes me wonder how a disc would fly if thrown...
