The "somewhat valid application" is actually the correct interpretation of flight numbers. The reasons they "don't matter" are just ways that the numbers are misinterpreted. So it's not that the...

When I first started the guys that introduced me to the sport swore up and down that if the disc ended up hanging in the chains it was a 1 stroke penalty.

I can think of reasons. What if you need a really steep spike anhyzer that needs to go up and down quickly? I'd throw a very overstable disc with a weak forehand for that. What if you need a 80'...

I played Ultimate before disc golf so I just throw a putter the same way I'd throw an Ultrastar (or any other lid) to someone standing in front of and to the right of the basket. Some common...

Just remember that putters do fly well nose up, so one of your flaws is not getting the nose down then throwing only putters won't help much, if at all with that.

FWIW, I've found that it's noticeably easier to feel and repeat the hit with mids. Putters are probably next with speed 6ish fairway drivers close behind. At speed 9 or so it gets much harder for...

IIRC, people were talking about "bent elbow" for a few years before all of the "Swedish" vs "American" throwing styles were discussed, so it only really pertained to a bent elbow reach back vs a...
