I swapped my S-PD for a Champ Thunderbird. Same flight and better grip on the JL plastic blend. PDs are more versatile but only because they've had more runs/plastics to provide the variants needed...

My ZFLX Zone has a little pop top, but is very overstable. I ended up getting a lighter weight Buzzz and it's pretty flippy! I like having that slot filled though. I'll have to compare to my ESP...

P's are easily a 5 glide. As far as their ratings, it depends on how they get beat in. I have one that's years old and it's like a good sidewinder. Others that take major collisions when fresh...

I bag 2. Flat and domed, 167g. The flat one is for rollers, severe flex shots, vertical spikes and thumbers. The domed one gets thrown for more normal backhand/forehand.

I really don't throw...

I've gotten 10+ P-PDs over time and only my very first one was hard plastic. The rest are an awesome grippy blend of Pro. Normal/average dome, glide for days and pretty good HSS out of the box.

I got my 10th ace this week with a Z Glide - 301' high turnover/S shot faded out into the basket. One of the best understable drivers I've ever bagged.

A couple older Leos I have are flatter (and stand taller than newer Leos when stood on edge). They are faster and flippier. If a L3onard is anything like that, and in JL champ... mmmmm.

Not even close, it's like saying "Firebird or Teebird"?
