He was really hungry...and this was the 4th take because he kept laughing at Avery messing up the names.

After he finally got through it, we took him to get a hamburger...and told the restaurant...

Came here to say DD2.

The new run of S-lines are actually the beefiest.

I carry a C-line (older run, can handle snap) and an Echo S-line which has insane glide and has a little more turn than...

GM is very overstable.

I know you said you're trying to stay on the "mid" side but if you want a discmania disc I'd go with the FD. For softer/powered down throws I think a S-line or Glow C-line...

Honestly you're just describing the FD2. I think practice is your answer here, not a new mold. The PD is much faster and has more turn, which is what leads me to the practice conclusion.

But...

If you're looking for a Discmania disc...

If you're looking for a Discmania disc specifically, there's nothing at this point that's as overstable as the Gator. Your best bet would be to bag a domey FD2 and power it down. I don't often...

True.

Ryan knows better than me, but the flat MD2's I have are like drifty Roc3's. The King Cobras I've thrown had much more fade to them.

I'm by no means an expert on the midranges though,...

The dome problem is in your mind. You don't grip a disc where the dome is. You grip it on the rim.

DGCR logic baffles me. Why are we suggesting throwing discs with less glide in a heavier weight to try to break a distance record?

Stop shoehorning MVP into everything

FD2 is much more overstable. Consider it a shorter firebird, especially if you buy the European Masters "3 crowns" stamp.

In hand it's the same or similar rim diameter. FD2 has a very blunt nose...

If that wasn't amazing enough, the max wind gust was 10mph today. He also threw 724' with a full sized disc.

So...hoping for the optimal conditions tomorrow. Watching Simon and David this year at...

Glow is anny-to-the-ground or rollers for me. A hyzer flip is required to get it straight. I use my FD's comfortably out to 350.

I think a ~168-70g Glow or G-line would be good if you have a...

Well they definitely don't fly like the 2nd runs I'll agree there. Much easier to think about them as two different types of discs, even though one was inspired by the other.

This is a good point. Mids won't skip the same way drivers will. Learning skips is about the angle and speed of the hyzer-side edge as it hits the ground. Flares are more consistent with a more...

You're assuming a good bit of information with this. Could it be that the FD2 was always planned to be an OS fairway and the overstability of the 2nd run of FD was what missed the mark instead?...

I'd recommend the Discmania CD if the beast is working lines that are too wide. It's the same ballpark of stability, but it likes tighter rope-like lines. I'd say a 167g S-line would work nicely for...
