The difference in speed is one of the reasons for me wanting to pair them together. That and the PD is more of the "power" disc and XL is more of the "control/finesse" disc.

Did you pair your XL with anything more stable? I'm thinking about pairing my PDs with the XL. Do you think that would be a good pairing?

I threw the XL for a bit and went back to the Leopard. I've been thinking about going back to the XL. I think the XL is more like Eagle-L and a little more stable than the Leo.

I'm a mixed bag thrower and like Discraft's offerings. I used to throw the XL and been thinking about putting it back in the bag. Would it complement the PD well, in your opinion? I throw a Leo for...

I know a little about the FD, but would it pair well with an EagleX? I imagine it would be like a longer EL but I'm unsure.

Also, does it fly straighter than the Patriot? I have some Patriots but...

For extra EX distance, I recommend getting an EX in the mid to upper 160's in Star and/or a max weight dx (recent blend) in max weight.

Not being contentious, but Eagles can be thrown straight without adding hyzer. Even a little seasoned they can still achieve straight shots. For example, I threw an Eagle (EX, for clarity) on this...

The upside of throwing with a some hyzer is that it makes shots easier to repeat and more predictable. It is harder to do so with a flat shot.

Personally, I would rather throw something a little slower like the EagleX and use a longer understable complement. In place of the OLF/PD type shot, I use a distance driver. It takes less "oomph" to...

Would the eagle-x be a good complement to the ols? Any overlap? The rim on the ols felt nice and I thinking about using them as a longer understable complement to the EX.

To clarify, I was referring to the steps involved when throwing off the tee, not necessarily the rules. Most people are going to have an idea of their foot placement when they are teeing off. They...

While it may be harder to do I don't think it is as hard as it sounds. In my opinion, I don't think it is any different than teeing off, especially with an open shot like Stokley's.

Because in a lie such as the one in the video I don't think a slight/menial foot fault is going to change the trajectory of the throw or give the player an unfair advantage. The second call was...

I couldn't tell, but why was the first throw a foot fault?

Unless it is blantant, I wouldn't call a foot fault. Seems petty.

I think that if Innova gave the L mold a different name that it might have had better success.

I figured I would continue the conversation on the Timberwolf/Ptero here. Will the Ptero run in champ-like plastic or will it only be ran in star-like plastic?
