Extreme overstability is a great way to limit distance as is a hyzer spike, additional height (other than a turnover disc), sidearm, skip shots, standstills, jump putts, etc.

Powering down is a...

You know that you will eventually be ready for a faster disc when you get longer distances on rare occasions.

You know that you are near ready for it when you get longer distances here and there....

The current run or moderately beat PFN's will fly straight but the bar stamps are turn-machines, start to finish, with little risk of flipping until they get beat to crap. I'm just thinking of...

They only laugh at the Wolf until I beat them with it and I say enjoy the mocking while you can:)

It makes my victory all the sweeter.

I've been doing all of my second shots on, and shorter tee shots, from a standstill for months because I have enough distance (inside of 250') but I have plans to extend my sidearm out further before...

I have a 167g that, when new thrown flat, flew flat for the 1st 125' then faded gradually from there out to about 325' (extremely gradual fade for a Wraith). After 500 or so throws, it has extended...

As soon as I can get the damn bogey or two (occassional double bog) out of my round, I'm going pro - Grand Masters. Birdie count is not a problem.

Or should I say if ever?

Don't forget a flex-shot.

Forced turn (overpower and/or anny release) with a stable disc that fades back without much time spent in a flat position. Very predictable line once mastered.

Nice stamp on the Wasp and a great disc.

Went OOP because it lacked forward fade compared to the other plastics it came in. I picked up a few back-ups earlier this year for about $20 per disc...

I only bring my gstar Wraith out on the more open courses but it's holding up fine... maybe 500 throws with it so far.

I noticed that it seems to have more forward fade than regular star or champ...

BTW, I'm speaking of the bar-stamped version of the Wolf, 167-180g.

I haven't found the PFN or modern versions to fly the same as these earlier ones.

Also, I scored a bar-stamped, 180g at the...

The Wolf is anything but a beginner's disc. In fact, it requires the most skill of any disc that I own to place where you want it.

That said, I love when I see 3-4 guys drive in front of me and...

When the best (most open) line is anny from start to finish, the Wolf delivers. Based on speed thrown and height given, it can range anywhere from 200'-325' on a fadeless line for me but dialing in...

True story.

One hole at my course is a beat Valk line and, since I didn't have one, I was using a CE QJLS on it and pumping a little extra into it. The trees on this hole are disc eaters but I...

I haven't used anything above the TB but my Pegasus has shown the most change - probably the same reason they discontinued DX... a long, thin rim.

Been throwing the Leo and TB since they came out and I would guess that it holds initial stability about 85-90% as well as regular star.

Good enough for government work.
