In Oregon I'd recommend stopping at whistlers bend. It's fairly close to I-5...it will be a couple hours before you get to Eugene (where Dexter is).

Once you are in Portland check out Pier Park

The problem is it's Oregon so it's often overcast and rainy. There are also a lot of trees. Those baskets that are in the shade or tucked in close to a tree don't light up very well.

I have to agree with this. 250 ft avg length is very outdated info, average hole length of 300-350 seems more standard.

That being said, there is nothing wrong with having a pitch and putt course...

I wish I didn't get that comment. I played in beta for about 6 months prior to release...glad I didn't put any money into it. I had high hopes. It was very disappointing.
