I don't think what you are describing is helping your throw. It sounds like off axis torque. Discs don't make that phhhst sound without flutter unless thrown with much more speed than a valk going...

I know it's a VL+ because i held it and can easily feel the slanted rim. The pics are not the exact same angle but it's still pretty obvious that the VL+'s rim isn't straight.

It isn't uncommon for me to get in 10 rounds in a week. When there is bad weather I don't play as much, but generally if it's nice I'll get a couple rounds in.
