DX and other facsimile plastics are great for beginners but if you're playing a course with lots of trees or rocks you might be better off learning with the Champ/Opto/Z/Star/Gold Line etc plastic so...

I use a Breaker. More of a putter and not terribly overstable but it's very HSS (resists turn) which is the only thing I really look for in an OS mid.

All I can tell you is that I shoot way better on courses with concrete tees than ones without. These perfectly level, natural tees sound like a myth, I'd love to see one. :|

I don't know much. The guy(s) that were keeping it up I've heard were a little ambitious/bonkers with the design so you got the jumbled mess of a course that is now. That construction next door...
