That is definitely true about the putters in my case. I was so frustrated by my Aviar I started throwing mids as putters... then I got a Supersoft Omega and I have started putting from even further...

I have also found alot of benefit to my chronic shoulder comes by wearing a good compression shirt. These are available at lots of outdoor/sporting stores... heck even Sprawl-Mart carries them. ...

Oh yeah, and I forgot... during both of the shots I'm describing I keep my elbow locked in at the waist, thus isolating the major torque and rotation someplace other than the shoulder.
