They're not as bright as the tape on lights BUT...
They're not as bright as the tape on lights BUT they weigh next to nothing, have a very small footprint, and glow for a few hours for about $.05 investment. One big glow stick could douse a whole box...

Sorry if someone else came up with this first but I just discovered a cool way to make disc glow lights very cheap. Get some good sticky round band-aids, whatever size you want, and some cheap glow...
