Actually, having no disc/frisbee experience might be rather helpful. Ultimate and regular frisbees fly so drastically different than our discs that I find it to be harmful to know how to throw those....

I would say the northman in tourney plastic would be a better choice, my experience with orcs was that they suffered from a lack of glide. Northmans are my go to.
