Slower speed discs are better for new players to learn form.

If you want to stick with Lat plastic, I recommend either the River or Striker. They're both great discs.

The OP said he was a 20-year disc golfer, not 20 year-old disc golfer. Perhaps he meant to say 20 years old but I don't make that assumption unless he can clarify.
