Adding acetone to dye

I have read that people use acetone in dye mixes for shaving cream dyes or the detergent/nebula dyes? I have had trouble finding out exactly why?

Does this help the dye take or make colors...

Westside Pearly Tourney Plastic?

I couldn't find any info or pictures on dying Westside tourney plastic. Is it the same as gold line? Or does it take dye well? Specifically detergent/shaving cream dye methods? Thanks in advance...

Has anyone ever tried dye, specifically detergent or shaving cream tye dye on pearly westside tourney plastic? i was hoping it would take dye similar to gold line and hoping to set this up tomorrow.

Goo Gone doesn't do anything to the dye, at least everytime i have used it it only takes off residue and never effects the dye.

I had alot of residue left on the top disc and used goo gone over...

Yea I've never had that issue in the past my dye wad premixed from previous use and I thought my vinyl was pretty tight just so bizzare spots got under there without streaks from the edge.

I have done strictly single colored stencils and never had that problem before. I'm fairly certain there was no holes in my vinyl and I took the time to flatten out all edges of the cut very well...
