If you're looking for a solid workhorse mid i'd suggest either a Champ Roc3 or a Z Buzzz. If you want to try something a little different a VIP Warship is a darn good mid as well.

Legacy isn't popular here in the Mid Atlantic either. MVP is out in full effect and it seems like it's the plastic of choice with the younger guys. Prodigy is starting to get a following as well.
