I wouldn't say a ton of holes, but maybe just a few definite ones. If you do it, you really do learn how to make your discs do what you need them to do...like we did 30 years ago with just one or two...

I just use the clear duct tape in the HVAC aisle at Homey Despot. Holds so well, I only use a single piece. I even use a small strip to wrap the battery to hold the LED's on. Works like a champ....
