Here in Charlotte, its not unusual to casually play a round with players with ratings in the 980-1030+ range. Thats assuming that you are not a 2 disc chukker!

If a course can be played by a foursome in a tournament in 2.5 hours, you can probably allow fivesomes; if it normally takes more than 3 hours for a foursome, AVOID fivesomes. Its simply time-of-play.

A short ace (by whoever's definition) is still an ace. It really depends on the course/event whether its "legit" to brag about it. About 15 years ago, I hit a heavily wooded dogleg ace on a 150ish...
