I use a VP and a ridge. They don't have a lot of glide, no, but they're much more reliable in the wind. I've used the ions too, and they're great off the tee, our if you ned a straight line mid, but...

You'll know if you're getting snap, your throws will be tight, consistent, and will bring tears to your eyes...:p

Vibram Ascent is a good stable-overstable Fairway driver. Depending on the distance you need, the Hornet is a good overstable mid-range that can handle some torque.

8-15: 99%
16-30: 50%
31-50: 20-25%
51-100: 1%

Typically if I'm 50-100 ft out I just try to drop it in the circle rather than drilling it and ending up with a worse drop than before.

I got my brand new Ascent, VP, and Ridge in the mail yesterday.

Goodbye TeeBird, hello Ascent. Goodbye Wizard, hello Ridge.

The claims about durability are not exaggerated. I hucked my Ascent...

The archangel is a good one too. 150 class dx's are pretty easy to find, and with a little play, they turn pretty understable quick.

Did some research. Realized I didn't know what a bead was.

Wasp has a bead, but the feel of the disc is still VERY close to the Buzzz. It doesn't handle low power throws as well as the Cro does,...

I have two Wasps, neither one has any bead, and they "feel" relatively similar to the Buzzz. I've also heard that the Hornet is one of the better options for overstable mid-ranges.

I love my Cro,...

People that buy legacy plastics are the hipsters of disc golf. Seriously. You guys pay between 30-70 for a piece of CE plastic. This is no different from paying a ton of money for vinyl records...

Guess I shouldn't pussyfoot around my throw, but outside of 200 feet, I usually feel better served with a Comet or Buzzz, or even an overstable one that I can fade into the circle.

When I say stalls I mean it slows down to the point of falling pretty sharply and slightly to the left. I'll admit that 1) I'm throwing a SSS Voodoo so 2) my grip ends up being fairly loose. But it's...
