I think in this scenario I would rub the weight of my putting putter off, and use it inside the circle.. Unless you are playing a bunch of events, I doubt anyone would notice... Possibly.

Buy a stack of pd's and don't look back. But to answer your original question, yes I would consider the champ t3 and champ thunderbird to overlap. Can't speak on the other plastics of the molds.
