Yeah, Codorus is about 45 min away, maybe a little more. I play Scarboro Hills at least 1 sometimes 2 times a week. I consider that my "home" course. Usually hit druid or pine grove every few weeks...

55" is a good min. length. Depends on the base being used also. I would say anywhere in that range is tolerable. Also the diameter should prob be between 1 1/8 and 1/3/4 or so.

Right on man. I'd seriously take any parts I can get. My buddy is taking down an old chain link fence and said hed give me all of the pole to it. Said he had enough to make at least 4-5 55" poles :)...

Thx! The brackets that make the basket sides are painted (came that way) and the edges are kinda rounded so there isn't really an issue. I even capped off the tips of the bolts with some plastic...
