Can't speak to gstar plastic, but in Champion, there were flat Kraits and Domey Kraits. The Domey ones were incredibly overstable.

distance is mostly about form. the lightweigth discs can hide the flaws in your form. With that said, it is all about fun, right? Lighter discs will not be able the wind as well as heavier discs....

I suggest you try a Latitude 64 River as your driver. Some might consider it understable, but I throw it straight, or with a hyser too. I use Makos as my putters, so I know where you are coming from....
